Horizons by Marriott Vacation Club is Marriott's newest innovation in vacation experiences offering a value-packed resort community concept with an emphasis on entertaiment, exciting onsite recreation, planned activities and a variety of amenities. Comfortable and practical two bedroom accommodations sleep up to eight people and feature a fully equipped kitchen, screened-in balcony or patio, separate living and dining areas, washer/dryer and more! Horizons Orlando is the first resort to open under this exciting new concept. Located just one mile west of Discovery Cove and SeaWorld, and eight miles from the Walt Disney World complex, Horizons Orlando offers deluxe accommodations, interactive water features at the main swimming pool, private lake and scheduled resort activities in a family oriented environment. Please note that Horizons Orlando is still under development and there is some construction activity that should be of minimal inconvenience to resort guests. The resort is being built in phases and will feature nine hundred units when completed. Future resort features will include (subject to change) bicycle rentals, convenience store, eighty seat movie theatre, fitness trail outdoor pathway for biking, jogging and walking, game room, lakeside dock, miniature golf course, multipurpose meeting room, self-service car wash and third swimming pool.

Accommodations at Horizons by Marriott Vacation Club Orlando are comfortable and spacious two bedroom-two bath villas located in six story buildings with a Key West cottage design. Each unit has a master bedroom suite, a guest room suite, fully equipped kitchen with dining area, living room and private screened-in balcony or patio. Features include individual climate control, lockable safe and stackable washer/dryer. Non-smoking units are available and six accessible villas have a roll-in shower and other ADA features. Ten villas are equipped for hearing impaired guests. All accommodations have a complete set of linens and towels. Renters receive a daily tidy service from housekeeping that includes emptying of all trash containers, making beds with existing linens, replenishing towels and vacuuming. Full housekeeping services are available at a daily charge with twenty-four hour advance notice. Booster seats and highchairs on request at no additional charge subject to availability; cribs and rollaway beds not available.

Two bedroom suites are approximately eleven hundred square feet and and can sleep up to eight people. The master bedroom has one king bed, color television and ensuite private bath. The guest bedroom has two full-size beds, color television and connecting bath. Both baths have a hairdryer. The fully equipped kitchen features a dining area with place settings for eight, coffee maker, cooking and eating utensils, dishwasher, full-size oven and stove, full-size refrigerator with icemaker, microwave oven and toaster. The living room is furnished with a coffee table, end tables, full-size sofa sleeper, linen closet with iron and board and laundry basket and twenty-five inch color television with direct satellite link, free HBO and video cassette recorder.
